About The Literacy Lift

I provide a strengths-based, whole child approach to provide support for special education teams with IEP development, goal writing, present levels, accommodations, progress monitoring, and alignment between student needs, goals, and specially designed instruction. Additionally, I offer an IEP and Literacy Alignment Review. I provide recommendations based on my review of evaluation data, present levels, reading goals, accommodations, specially designed instruction, intervention data, progress monitoring, and alignment between the child's documented needs and their literacy instruction.

I have six years of experience teaching elementary special education in the resource setting in the public school system in North Carolina. Additionally, I have Master's degrees in both elementary education and special education, as well as a B.A. in English.
